First quarter memory sales were down 25 percent from the previous quarter, with samsung down the most!

The memory semiconductor market, which is the main force of samsung electronics and SK hynix, continues to suffer, and the overall semiconductor market also hit the worst record in 10 years.

IHS Markit, a market-research firm, released data Wednesday showing that overall sales fell 25 percent in the first quarter from the previous quarter due to falling demand and rising inventories. On the other hand, among the top 10 semiconductor companies in terms of sales, anwar high-tech ($4.64 billion), qualcomm ($3.753 billion) and Texas instruments ($3.513 billion) ranked 5th, 6th and 7th respectively.

Nvidia (Nvidia) is in a unique position. Sales of gpus (graphics processors) for artificial intelligence applications soared last year, combined with the popularity of cryptocurrencies.
