The suite is equipped with the 32-bit RX65N MCU certified by Amazon FreeRTOS and equipped with wi-fi and sensors to connect to the AWS Cloud quickly.

(TSE: 6723), a leading global supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the launch of renesas RX65N cloud suite with onboard wi-fi, environment, light intensity and inertial sensors that support Amazon FreeRTOS and quickly connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS).This suite helps embedded designers connect to AWS easily, quickly and securely.Using renesas integrated development environment (IDE) "e2 studio", you can easily create Internet of things applications by configuring Amazon FreeRTOS, all necessary drivers, and network stacks and component libraries.


The RX65N cloud suite provides an excellent assessment and prototyping environment that enables embedded designers to create secure end-to-end Internet of things (IoT) cloud solutions for sensus-based terminal devices.With renesas browser-based software, users can use a smart device cloud dashboard to visualize their sensor data to monitor Internet of things applications, including networked smart meters, buildings, offices, industrial automation systems and home appliances.

The renesas 32-bit RX65N MCU offers Dual Bank Flash for secure, easy application updates over the network and remote over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates.Dual Bank Flash integrated on the RX65N MCU, as well as BGO (background operation) and SWAP features make it easier and safer for system and network control manufacturers to perform field firmware updates.The series of MCUS also integrates Trusted Secure IP (TSIP) as part of its built-in hardware security engine. TSIP drivers use powerful cryptographic key management with hardware accelerators -- AES, 3DES, SHA, RSA, and TRNG -- as well as protected boot code flash areas to securely boot customers' IoT devices.

RX65N R5F565NEDDFP 32-bit, 120 MHz MCU target board, with 2 MB code flash memory and 640 KB SRAM

Integrated with the Silex sx-ulpgn wi-fi communication Pmod module

Cloud panel, equipped with two USB ports for serial communication and debugging, and three sensors for sampling and transmitting measurement data to the cloud:

O renesas ISL29035 digital photosensitive sensor for environmental/infrared light measurement

O Bosch BMI160 MEMS sensor for triaxial acceleration and gyro measurements

O Bosch BME680 MEMS sensor for gas, temperature, humidity and pressure measurements
